Hours: Variable start – 0630 or 0700

This Cardiac Cath Tech position assists the cardiologist on both diagnostic and interventional procedures involving cardiac catheterizations through digital imaging as part of the patient’s permanent record and recording and analyzing ECG hemodynamic data.

Qualifications:

  • This position requires certification as a Washington State Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist or a Washington State Radiologic Technologist license and certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • This position also requires skills to provide advanced ECG interpretation.
  • The ability to interpret advanced hemodynamic and perform arterial venous hemostasis.
  • Troubleshoot and sterilize equipment.
  • Instruct patients.
  • Defibrillate patients.
  • Draw lab samples, act testing, and create charts.
  • Take universal precautions with the types of contrast media and adverse reactions, use safe radiation procedures, and operate equipment safely.
  • Position patient and x-ray camera appropriately.
  • Scrub in for procedure, suture and pulling sheaths, apply sterile dressings.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills.
