Radiologic Technologist – Cath Lab

Job Description

• JOB SUMMARY
  Provide safe and effective
  patient care utilizing the acceptable care standards in accordance with policies
  and procedures at both Saint Francis and Thomas Memorial hospitals, and
  professional ACR and ARRT standards. Radiologic Technologists are accountable
  for the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures as
  required by the Medical Staff in the diagnosis and/or treatment of patient
  illness.
• EDUCATION
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic
    Technologist Program, Specialty registry in discipline preferred (i.e. CT, US,
    MRI, Nuc Med, CVT).
  • Specialty registry may be required in particular areas due
    to requirements by accrediting bodies.
• LICENSURE
  • Current licensure by the State of West Virginia as a
    Radiologic Technologist and registered by the ARRT (American Registry of
    Radiologic Technologists)
• EXPERIENCE
  • 1-3 years experience as a technologist in a hospital setting preferred. (Previous hospital experience in area of specialty preferred.)
• CERTIFICATION
  • BLS certification within 60 days of employment.
• COMPUTER/TYPING/MATH SKILLS
  • N/A
• JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Certification in specialty area preferred.
