Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai’i. At our Cardiac Catheterization lab, we employ the latest catheterization technology to diagnose heart problems and identify the most appropriate treatment plan for each patient.

If you have exceptional technical and patient care skills, you could help our Cardiac Catheterization Lab deliver quality, compassionate cardiac care to our patients and their families. As the Cardiac Catheterization Radiology Technologist, you will help to perform a variety of invasive and noninvasive diagnostic Cardiac Catheterization procedures, as well as other relevant technical duties. This position is for someone with a strong sense of quality control, a talent for managing complex instrumentation and procedures and a commitment to helping our organization deliver the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai‘i Radiologic Technologist license. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Complete skills checklist within three (3) months. Six (6) months radiology technologist experience in special procedures.

Preferred Qualifications: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologists in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology (CIT). Six (6) months radiology technologist experience in invasive cardiac cath procedures.
