The Cath Lab Registered Nurse at Beaufort Memorial Hospital supports the philosophy of nursing by planning and coordinating care for a group of patients within his/her area. This individual has the responsibility to direct ancillary personnel for implementation of the patient’s plan of care and has satisfactorily mastered the basic skills in the assigned area. The scope of nursing practice is focused on an assigned group of patients and encompasses charge responsibilities as assigned. Performs within the limits of SC Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for nurses, hospital policies and procedures, and Nursing Standards of Practice.

Job Requirements

Education

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a South Carolina Nursing License

Experience

  • Previous experience preferred

Certifications/Licenses

  • Current South Carolina Registered Nurse License
  • BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association)
  • ACLS certification required
  • PALS certification preferred
