Job Description
Cath Lab Techs needed for PIH facilities
Shift:
Day 730a – 4p
Call Monday – Friday 3/4p – 7a next day
Call Weekend – 7a – 7a next day
May also be asked to be on call. Schedule can be pre planned but flexibility will be needed.
Requirements (Mandatory):
– 1 year minimum experience Community Hospital or Stemi Work setting experience
– BLS
-ARRT
-References: Two direct supervisor references, updated within the last year and from work exp within the last 2 years. Must be from unit (Cath Lab) they are applying to. 1 reference must be included at the time of submission. Peer references are not accepted.

-Inserting/programming of AICDs (Automatic Implantable Cardiac Defibrilators) & Peacemaker insertion

Peripherals
-Upper & lower extremity
-ABD and Pelvic
-Genitourinary studies
-Vascular studies
-Venous access
-Inpatient
-Outpatient
-Pacemakers
-Obtaining vitals
-Rhythm interpretation
-Sinus node rhythms
PREFERRED(Ideal, but not mandatory):
– Monitor
– Filter placement
– Pacemaker/defib device placement
– Cardioversion
– Hemo dynamic monitoring
– 12 lead EKG
– Charting system: Allscripts, MERGE
Facility Info:
Orientation: Basic unit orientation, such as location of linen, medication carts, etc. – RN’s are expected to overall work independently on their first shift.
– Charting: Allscripts EMD charting. Training modules provided. Per Diem clinicians are required to do Allscripts (computer-based training) prior to start on their own time.
– Scrubs: Royal Blue scrubs
– Covid Vaccine declinations are accepted
