Unit Description: UVMMC has the only interventional Cath Lab in the state, and we manage patients throughout northern and central VT and upper NY State. We offer state of the art diagnostic, interventional, peripheral, and structural heart procedures. We are an RN only lab with monitor, circulator and scrub roles for all staff. We use multiple modalities including IVUS, OCT, FFR, Impella, IABP in the treatment of our patients with cardiovascular and peripheral disease. Our structural heart program includes PFO/ASD closure, TAVR, and Mitral Clip. Experience in Cardiology or critical care is preferred.
On-call: RN’s work 8- or 10-hour shifts Mon -Fri from 7-1730 with approximately 5 shifts of call a month which includes a weekend every 5 weeks.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the State of Vermont required.
- ADN required, BSN preferred
- Appropriate experience in specific clinical area. Varies by unit.
