Our high acuity Cath/EP Lab team provides excellent care and takes pride in superior cardiac skills. We provide our community with the latest and most technologically advanced catheter procedures including, but not limited to: transradial approach coronary procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, CTOs, Impella, and IABP. Our Electrophysiology Lab is just as innovative with CARTO, EP Med System, ESI Mapping, Watchman, PVI ablations and many other clinical modalities improving patients’ lives.

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the Cath/EP Lab RN assists the physicians with the safe performance of cardiology procedures primarily in the circulating role. The candidate must have strong knowledge of cardiac medications, EKG, be able to provide conscious sedation, support an anesthesiologist with general anesthesia and respond appropriately to emergency situations. The RN analyzes, uses, and cares for diverse technical equipment, supplies, while maintaining accurate records as necessary.

Education: Completion of an accredited nursing education program that is accredited and satisfies the licensing requirements of the Colorado State Board of Nursing for Registered Nurses. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Experience: At least one-year RN experience in a Cath Lab patient care setting.

Credentials: Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the State of Colorado or a participating compact state required. National board certification is a preference and encouraged for staff nurses.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider Certification/CPR required.

*Specialty certifications as required/recommended per unit. All Certifications and Licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.
