Responsibilities:
As part of our Cath Lab Team, our IR Techs works with proceduralists as part of a procedural team to perform interventional procedures. Operates medical imaging equipment (single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiographic equipment, Ultrasound, Intravascular Ultrasound IVUS) and assists with device management.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required
- 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab or Surgical Services required
- Annual demonstration of independent interventional radiologist proficiency required
- BLS – Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
- CRT – State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist required
- CRTFP – State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit required
- ARRT – American Registry Radiologic Technologists required
