Cath Lab Tech-20k Retention Bonus
Duties: Under the general supervision of the cardiologist and/or cath lab manager, following facility protocols, provide technical support (scrub/monitoring) during cath lab procedures such as PTCA, PCI, complicated PCI procedures with Impella support, atherectomy procedures, structural heart procedures, peripheral angiography and interventions, and cardiac pacemaker implants. Provide direct patient care by recording, documenting, and interpretation right and left heart hemodynamics, ECG’s and cardiac valve calculations. Troubleshoots all cath lab equipment with minimal assistance. Participates in cath lab QA/QI and radiation safety programs. Performs other duties as directed by the Cath Lab Manager.
Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday -Friday, call coverage (late stay) Monday – Friday 3:30pm – 7:00am. With future growth options for 10-hour shifts will become available.
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technology or Radiology Technology with a minimum of two (2) years cath lab experience
License / Certification / Registry:
Current Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Radiological Technologist-Registered with CI, BLS, and ACLS.
