JOB SUMMARY
The Cath Lab RN BN will provide age-specific, quality, patient-centered care to all patients through the nursing process and standards of nursing practice with sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. The RN BSN will also develop, evaluate, implement and modify a patient care plan to meet the needs of individual patients.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of laws, rules and regulations, standards and guidelines of certifying and accrediting bodies, hospital and department/unit standards, protocols, policies and procedures, medical terminology, principles and practices of health promotion, risk reduction, illness and disease prevention, medications and drugs, common dosages, and patient privacy rights. The ideal candidate must have communication, written, interpersonal, and computer skills. The ideal candidate must have the ability to observe changes in the medical condition of patients and possess an understanding of Catheterization Laboratory Care modalities.

– Shift/Schedule – FT days with varied shifts 4-10s, 3-10s and 1-12, with call 7-9 days per month

QUALIFICATIONS

• EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required
• EXPERIENCE: 1+ Year experience required
• CERTIFCATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
