EP experience strongly preferred.
Prepares equipment and patients for procedures utilizing sterile technique. Assists Cardiologist during diagnostic cardiac catheterizations according to established standards and procedures. Post procedurally establishes homeostasis of arterial/venous puncture sites. Maintains procedural event log. Participates in patient/family education. Participates in Quality Assessment and Improvement. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime during peak periods. Participates in the on-call roster. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager, Heart Program.
Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent ARRT registered or registry eligible BLS Certified ACLS Certification (preferred).
