Cath Lab Attendant (Full-time)

This position is responsible in assisting the Cath Lab staff in caring for patients who are having a procedure in the Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab or Special Procedures Lab. This position also helps with stocking and inventory control of all supplies, including non-narcotic medications, in the storeroom. This position has exposure to blood and bodily fluids. Majority of time is spent standing and/or walking of short distances (up to 60% of work time), with frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 150 lbs. (up to 30% of work time).

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
BLS (must be obtain within 90 days of hire)

SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Effective communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, as usually demonstrated by successful completion of high school studies, are required. Familiarity with the patient care procedures is required as usually demonstrated by completion of six months employment in a patient care setting.
