Job Description

Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager of Cardiac Catheterization/EPS Laboratory, assists the physician and other medical and nursing personnel in the performance of cardiac catheterization procedures, EP studies and other procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Under the direct supervision of the RN, performs designated patient care activities in Cardiac Same Day Procedure. The technician is competent to provide care for patient population young adult to geriatric.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Cath, EP or neuro lab experience preferred.
• Medical/surgical supplies inventory experience and computer knowledge preferred.
• Registered Radiology Technologist or Register Cardiovascular Technologist required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and detail-oriented required.
• Must have tolerance for high-stress situations and the ability to interact with professional staff.
• BLS and ACLS-certified by the American Heart Association required.
