Cardiac Cath Nurse

Job Description

Responsible for all identified nursing
behaviors within Cardiovascular and Diagnostic Services Departments. Coordinates with physicians, directors,
supervisor, and Nursing Services to assure that departmental and hospital
standards are followed. Demonstrates clinical
expertise, teaching, and communication skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Graduate of a school of Nursing.

2.Current licensure in the State of West Virginia to practice professional nursing.

3. Must have at least two years recent clinical experience in critical care and/or emergency nursing with demonstrated ability to function in a critical care area.

4. Maintains current ACLS certified, must be within 3 months of start of position.

5. Maintains current state licensure as a Point of Care Technician (POCT) for performing Activated Clotting Time (ACT) procedures. If not
currently POCT licensed, must be within 3 months of start position.
